Fuel-Cut TSB

I did my waranty work yesterday through Bankston Nissan. The service technician doesn't seem to be aware of the TSB because he called the service manager or someone else, until I showed them the copy of the TSB and they fix it without any hesitatioin or question.
now since it fix my 5spd max is more drivable at bumper to bumper traffic.

btw I did get the 2 wheels trust alignment from the smae palce for $49.95.. make sure you tell them the "2 wheels trust alignment" because I called 3 different places and they want me to do 4 wheel alignment for more than $70.

once again thank you for the wonderful maxima.org.

The way Maximas are set up, you need a four wheel alignment. They might could do just a front wheel alignment for you, but it is worth the extra $25 to get the correct job done.

from the converstaion with the service mechanic and the service manager over the phone, they agree that maxima is only need 2 wheels trust alingment.

2 wheel trust alignment used the rear wheels to align your front wheels.

That's what I found out from other org members.

My car acts differently after the TSB whenever I first start driving BEFORE the temp. guage gets up to normal.

It sort of feels restrained like it's trying to accelerate and can't then it accelerates, but once it gets warmed up it's fine.

I'll take that any day compared to how it acted before the TSB during everyday driving.

I never really try cold start after the TSB but before that it was worse..but I iwll try and let you know.

but TSB it's help.. but it doesn't fix the problem completely according to some memeber.. the only move up the range.

Sluggishness

My V6 Toyota Camry does the same thing. It is very sluggish and hessitent. Also, since it is an auto, the car will not rev past 4000 until it is warms up to protect the engine. So your issue is completly normal.

It did NOT do it before the TSB.

The TSB caused the power delivery to NOT be smooth. It goes up and down very quickly making it feel like it's labored and not responsive.
