This isn't a big deal to me but I was wondering if anyone has had the issue of their lights not blinking when they lock/unlock their car? Is there a blown fuse or something? The horn sounds but no light blink.

 

Look in your car manual and change the setting to honk and flash

On my 2000 remote, it says on the back of the fob how to change the settings. When i first bought my car, it did the horn beep and I didn't like it.

This is what it says on my remote...

Press both LOCK and UNLOCK for 2 seconds to change from beep to quiet.

 

I've heard this, I'll try and see if it's the same for the 5.5 right now...

 

It is the same for 5.5 I didn't want the horn and lights so I turned it off. Now it looks and unlocks without by doing just as he said above

 

Press Lock and UnLock and hold both for 2 sec> to toggle the selection...
