FOB key for a 5th gen???
I'm fan of flip FOB keys and figured I had to have one for my Max. I ordered one on eBay for $17.95 with free shipping. It doesn't look cheap at all looks real genuine like an OEM. But all I had to do was just transfer my original remote, buttons, battery, and transponder chip in to the FOB key and voilą. I just took it to a local locksmith and had the key cut for $4. All in all I think it's MUCH appealing than the standard key and remote. Just something you don't see everyday...

Do you have transponder chip in your key? If you do then check these out they're from the same seller I got mine from...

To be SAFE I'd go to the dealer to have them confirm there's a transponder chip in the key or the remote. If you don't have one you should get the 1st one I listed since images on you buttons have worn off. Then when you get the FOB key unscrew it apart and take the blank key to a locksmith and have them cut it for you and then you can reassemble everything (putting your remote parts into the FOB key)
