Make sure your battery is good and none of your lights are dimming when you crank.

I am having the same problem as you I believe I have a 02 auto I was at store pumping gas I I went to my car to start it I turn the key to the on position everything lit up like normal but when I want to start it nothing happened after dragging it home I removed the starter had it tested and it tested bad so after putting a new starter in I came up with the same results at first I thought maybe my haltech went bad so I removed it still same results so I turn car on position and manually crank the starter the motor crank but would not turn on I could hear the fuel pump so I pretty much figured I was getting gas I took a spark plug out of 1 of the front to see if I was getting spark no spark I put spark plug back in hooked up the haltech and manually crank starter and car fired over I have a belief its NATS the car is now at Nissan will see what they say

if it was NATS, wouldn't the red security light be steady? Because I thought that about mine too, until someone filled me in that if it's blinking and the engine is cranking, than your not immbolized.

I'm bringing my car to a local mechanic in town, I cant get to all the bolts holding the starter to the transmission. Because I was gonna take it off and bring it to AutoZone to have them test it, and if it failed I was gonna buy a new one.

Wow, this thread is pretty funny thus far.
OP: NATS immobilizing your car simply cuts injector pulse. That means your car will still crank, and crank and crank.....etc no fire
I also believe that your usage of the word "crank" has mislead some folks. "crank" means turning over of the engine, they're synonymous/interchangeable terms. If the car cranks fine then your starter is fine, done end of story.
If your car has a charging issue (battery/alternator having drained battery...etc) and you get no crank - this is ruled out by jumping either via jump pack/another vehicle...etc If the starter turns the motor over (ie: cranks) yet your engine fails to fire up and come to life than you know your starter is dead.
I think you have a more in depth problem (such as the fuel pump) that you need to have diagnosed (since you don't seem much of a shadetree). Just cause you heard the fuel pump doesn't mean its good.

If I were a tow truck driver I would like to **** with people equally as much
Keep your cool and wait until you have it diagnosed by a proper mechanic. I'm betting its a fuel pump/pressure issue.

So it turns out, it was a bad battery. The tow truck driver had a stronger jump pack than mine. We left it on there for a few minutes, cranked it a few times, than I finally put the gas pedal to the floor, and cranked it once more, it the engine fired right up.
