I think the 2000-2001 are plug and play. The i30 is not.

And you will have to swap the mileage chip, not a simple job.

I30 swap will be a lot of work .. If thats the route you wanna go prepare to spend a lot of time on it.

I put the 2001 AE cluster in my 4th gen SE took many many hours figuring out the diagrams not plug and play at all.

You can re pin almost anything to make stuff work he asked for plug and play.

The anniversary edition cluster is simply an SE cluster, no different. The AE was only offered in the SE trim.

All SE 00/01 gauges are that style. Just fyi

Pics of it in the 4th?

I always liked the SE 4th gen gauges, but the 5th are nicer for sure

Not familiar with re pining, I got mine to work by comparing diagrams and soldering everything together = no loose connections I was able to get a the 5th gen cluster harness so once I soldered the correct wires to it, then mine was plug and play

About the SE gauges, cool info.. had no idea what was what on the 5th gens. I know they called them AE cluster, that happened to be the one I liked for my 4th gen.

Nice, good work! That's how I'd have done it also I think, repinning requires pins, and 'proper tools' to do correctly. Waste of time/money, IMO, solder/shrink tube like you did I say.

Still waiting for pics

Tuner im surprised at you bro! You know there is a $5 pin extractor tool and all your doing is swapping pin locations around on the harness connector not the cluster.man were going to have to come up there and slap some of that canadian out of you again!

Looks like you got it to fit half decent visually?

Ot, what did you use to do your center console trim, hydrodip?

Ah....just a clip of one wire and it would all work, even when the headlights come on? The abs, oil, airbag and so on light up, tach revs properly already. Could you walk me through this??? Much much thanks in advance....

Okay, I went ahead and installed the SE speedometer, however, is there a way to swap the mileage so it is correct? The new se speedo is almost double what mine is....any help would be appreciated!

The I30 cluster will plug right in, but it won't operate.
I did an I35 cluster swap on my 2002 max, and it was a lot of work. Well worth it to me, but I also chose to mod the cluster to work on a maxima rather than mod the cars wiring. That way I can always go back to my stock cluster, and if I ever decided to sell the I35 cluster...it'd be direct plug & play for the new owner.
