Another Cat question...have mercy..

Ok so my 01 20th anny is throwing 420 and 430 codes and Im just starting to get really fed up with this car. I had a 170 and 171 code (or something similar) a while ago and changed all 4 o2 sensors and the MAF and then a few months later I got these codes. So my buddy who is a master tech who works at christian brothers auto took a look at it and said I need cats. Now Ive done some research on here about cali emissions vs fed emissions. But my main question is what do I replace? I work in the parts business and have for quite some time and looking up parts is never a problem for me, but for some reason this damn maxima has to be soo confusing. I see like 4 cats on this thing when I look up pictures and diagrams. I see direct fits and universals and its all just too confusing. What do I need? I just want an oe replacement that I can get from work...direct fit. I dont care about the cost I just want everything replaced so I can get this damn CEL off and sell this nightmare of a car. Oh how I miss my 240 haha

Oh if someone can post some pictures Id appreciate it.
BTW my car is fed spec not cali

Thanks guys
Bryan

Are you positive you are not Cali spec? I was in your shoes a few weeks back, and was informed that after the 2000 model they were all Cali spec. Even if your car was never involved with the state of California (mine originated in AZ, and I bought it in NV) apparently to save costs Nissan started manufacturing the bulk of the 2000s to the tighter Cali standard which eventually became federal standard.

Edit: just looked up the parts schematic for the exhaust systems on 2001 both federal and cali have the same setup. I have encircled the two parts you would have to replace.
