2001 Maxima will not start

I was driving when my car suddenly without warning shut off. Managed to get my car to a safe spot while coasting. Initially thought it may have been a battery issue, but when the key is turned to aux, everything turns on. Tried a jump start anyways with no avail.

When turning on the car, it will crank, but it will not start. The starter was replaced less than a month ago. The noise starting up is completely different than when my starter had gone previously. The noise itself on start up sounds horrible. No check engine light, no previous warnings.

This happened to me two weeks ago. I just added water in the battery and drove around for a while for it to mix with battery acid. Just pop the caps off on the battery and add water.

Could it be the fuel pump?

Same exact thing happened to my Excursion back in September. Had the battery and alternator tested, they were fine. Replaced fuel filter, nothing. Replaced fuses and relays for fuel pump, nothing. $700 later I had a local shop replace the fuel pump. Did I mention I filled the 44 gallon tank before it went?

hook it up to a scan tool could be a camshaft position sensor, happened to me like that also. Car would crank all you want but wouldnt turn over, there was no check engine or no service engine light. I replaced the fuel pump and filter still nothing, decided to hook up a scan tool and BAM camshaft position sensor.
