Aftermarket alarm

Hey guys quick question.

i have an aftermarket alarm system. when i lock the car with the remote all the doors lock. when i try to unlock the car with the remote the alarm computer clicks like its sending a signal but doesnt unlock any of the doors. i know the 5th gens. have the door module recall a while ago from what ive read but has anyone had any problems or know how to fix this?

See if you can get the wiring diagram for the aftermarket alarm system you have. Trace the wire for the door lock/unlock signal. See if that wire is is good condition and connected properly. It may not be sending a strong enough signal to unlock the doors. I had trouble like this with my Hornet 554t and it proved to be a poor wire connection.

You need the alarm set to neg double pulse to unlock maxima doors
