Engine issue?

A few days ago I noticed that the oil light flickered for a second after startup. Normally it doesn't do that. Today, it started blinking a little longer at startup and I can hear the engine running louder than it usually does. I checked the oil level and it is right where it should be, and the oil is still fresh (Mobil 1 EP 10w-30) I changed it last month. The only problem in the engine bay I can observe is there is a slight hissing sound in the back. Is this normal? I checked all the hoses and they seem fine. No CEL.

I would advise you to drop the oil pan cover and make sure the pickup tube is not clogged or fell off or something. When you look into the oil fill port is there oil there on top of the valves?

Engine sounds fine, change the oil pressure sensor and see if the problem with the light continues. The Hissssssssssss is most likely a vacuum leak, Check Engine light on?
