Lighting

I put in new headlamps on my 2K. They are 100/90W. Is that to much. I have heard that I might melt the housing b/c of heat if I run them in the day, but if I only use it at night and in the rain I should be fine....Please Help!!

Dude get those bulbs out of there, unless you buy the upgraded harness. Otherwise its just going to be more trouble in the long run, there really isn't a need for such high output bulbs. PIAA makes great bulbs for the stock wattage. A bit pricy but I love my Platnium super whites

How much does it cost to upgrade the harness, and how hard is it to do?
