B4 I picked up the car at the dealership, I was thinking about 3 colours. Glacier Pearl, Sterling Mist, and Majestic Blue. When I saw it, the glacier pearl doesn't really look pearly to me at all. It just looks like a plain white. I know that it was a 2k2. Does anybody have a glacier pearl 2k2? does it look pearly to you (kinda like Audi pearl)?

 

It's definelty not like the PEARL white for Audis, and it's not plain like Acuras taffeta white. It's inbetween both colors like a sparkly white.... whatever

 

Why didn't you pick the Majestic Blue?
seems to be a popular color now (its what I have on order).
Wish they had better color selections, like a true silver would be nice.

get majestic blue. i saw it on an AE yesterday, and i want that color now.

i have the icelandic pearl, don't know if it's different than the 2k2, but it is more white, than pearly. and it's a pain in the buttocks to match.

 

oh yeah it's pearly alright~ you can even say creamy. i parked next to Irvine78's car, his car is WHITE compare to mine. his is icelandic pearl.

 

It is a pain, but it's more of a creamy off-white than white. Like a very light ecru color.

My 02 is glacier pearl and I think it's pearly enough. I didn't notice this when I bought my car, and compared to my friend's white 00 Max, my 02 obviously has pearl on its paint.

is it just me or does the tungsten blue shift from green to blue under different lights?

 

I have a 2k2 and the Glacier Pearl has metal flakes in it that really make it sparkle. I must say that I was disappointed with the color selection that is offered on the Maxima. I would think that for one of Nissan's more expensive cars they would have a better selection. I thought that the Sterling Mist looks good from far, but up close it kinda looks funny. Just my 2 cents.

 

I like the White, as the looks bigger and does turn heads.
They should have a silver, like the Altima. The VW silver is very nice, but Sterling Mist is silver under some light conditions, and little bit rosy under others.
