P0430 and knock

I have and 03 Maxima 146K, 6 speed. Check engine light came on P0430 and developed and knock at the same time. Knock seems to coming from under the intake. Knock is always there hot or cold. Changed the oil and used a quart of Lucust oil and knock is the same. Can these be related and what should I replace or do to clear the code? Vacuum Leak, 02 sensor, cats other? I'm worried about the knock! your thought???

I would replace your 02, clear your codes and go from there.

Do you use premium fuel?

89, sounds like it might be coming from the injectors?? or a valve tap?? I am going to get an automotive stethescope to see exactly where its coming from.

your cats have probably deteriorated and shacking inside the exhaust. I would check which cat is damaged and replace it.

I put a stethascope on, and without a doubt, the tap is coming from the fuel injectors.

Nope. Read again... One ounce per every 4 or 5 gallons of gas
