Valve cover gasket issue

I have a 02 max automatic and decided to do my valves cover gaskets witch was a piece of cake so I did them put everything back together but the car won't start now it sounds like it wants to start but nothing so I took everything off and put it back about to more time replug everything were it goes check all the grounds or anything that could be missed plug or a vacume not connected but everything seems correct but the car won't start some one please help me I'm going crazy....also when it cranks right after you hear a tiny whistle so I'm thinking is a vacume leak?
