Steering wheel extremely light!

I know I have been driving this car for about almost 4 months and I have knew about the steering wheel is so light is it like that for all 5th gen Maxima?

Sometimes I can't let go my hands off the steering wheel when going through small amount of bumps because it too damn sensitivity! When I back it up the steering wheel would automatic do it self for me sometimes going from left or right depending on the how ground is balance.

So tell me guys is any of you guys getting this experience or should I be concern about it?

You might want to check the tie rod ends, ball joints and Lower Control Arm bushings.

That could be a contributing factor, yes.

Get an alignment while you're at it too.

Actually alignment is fine... to proof that when I let go off my steering wheel it can still stay balance and going to straight line but it just that my steering wheel is very sensitivity to the bumps. I just ordered 2 new front tires let see what happens from that.

So.. alignment isn't the issue mate but thanks.

I wouldn't rule out the alignment. Yes your bald tires are going to give you those issues, but once you get the new tires on there, and it still has the same problem... alignment should be done too. Just because your car drives straight when you let go of the wheel, doesnt mean your car is aligned properlly.

Actually I can get alignment for free from Town Tire Fair because I've bought set of rims and tires from them. So I'll post the result see what happens tomorrow.

Just got my 2 front wheels changed and the man did alignment for free and now the steering wheel is back normal where it should be not too light, not too tight just perfect condition for me and it has a very good handling!
