2002 cutting off at stop

I bought my daughter a 2002 GLE a year ago, it is burning gas more than usual and it has started cutting off when she is stopped. It starts back up and drives without issue, but I have not been able to find the cause.

I have changed plugs, wires, air filter, and replaced the valve cover gaskets to stop a leak; all done about two months ago.

Any input would be great, Thanks

You didn't mention the check engine light being on, so I will assume that it is not. I will also assume that the check engine light bulb is burned out. Take the car to an auto parts store and ask them to read the codes. Then we'll see what to do next.

Shuts off on deceleration? Vacuum leak. How is the cold idle?

Dirty throttle body can cause stalling at low rpms, so can a malfunctioning EGR valve.

This

and also check the rubber vacuum line going from the intake manifold to the brake booster to see if its leaking

Camshaft position sensors. Most times they don't set off a CEL. But I did have a pending code for it

Had issues with my camshaft position sensors, never caused the car to stall though. My low idle and occasional stall after a hot restart on my 4AT 5.5 gen was my filthy throttle body. My son's Camry stalling problems was the EGR valve. EGR is easy enough to check, just block off the vacuum line going into it, cap off the vacuum line nipple on the EGR valve.

Well mines caused mine to stall. Also Auto 5.5 no harm in checking

I am having this same issue. Anyone find the answer? Replaced: Iac, water temp sensor, coils, plugs, idle relearn, cpu reset, still stalls when cold. Heard might be upper manifold gasket?

I also had this problem and it ended up being a dirty MAF sensor. I just pulled it out and sprayed it with electronics cleaner and no more stalls!

Fuel Pump fixed mine

Once I replaced my fuel pump and filter it Fixed all of my stalling rough idling issues. At the time I had already replaced the EGR, MAF, vacuum lines, Valve gaskets and still had the idle issue. Even had the idle adjusted +250 rpms with Car Guage Pro (which then held it around 850) and it would still stall.
Now the idle is set about +25 (not 250) and holds a very steady 750-760 and no more stalling.
