Medium whistle under part throttle.
Mean loud growl at WOT.

Arguable, but compared to stock I'd say slightly less torque with a noticeable better pull above 5K rpms.

See, I dont disagree with you there, but for us street and everyday driving, the gains above 5k rpms aint too much of use. I mean that is only when you AGGRESSIVELY racing someone. But for the most part if you passing or just going as normal, it really wont show much.

That is why I really want the PR CAI

Totally agree. I do MOSTLY highway travel(6-7K of 10K miles), so I put the 4-6K rpm range to good use.

Also, the growl covers up the annoying strained engine WHINE. I hated the whine sound of the engine from day one and thought the Stillen Intake covered it up a little. Now that I have it back to stock, I can't wait to put the SI back on and now I'm itching to put my Greddy on and maybe a Y-pipe this summer.

I did a Stillen HF intake on my 2k2 and the low end torque seems just as good. But anything over 3,000 rpm is much better! 218.9 FWTQ peak.

My friend has the Stillen intake and it is LOUD under WOT. You can't really notice any losses down low, but it does pull harder. Now I have just a K&N filter (which is a little smaller than the Stillen) and it does have a little growl, but not as much as the Stillen one. The Stillen sounds bad @$$
