Think I need a new mechanic, he says I got the wrong o2 sensor. He's say he has a po138 code

Yes I know, after I changed the ignition coil, the P0133 code went away and now the p0138 code came up. That's what I was trying to say. My mechanic didn't change the p0133 because he says the po138 code is the problem not the p0133 so I was debating taking back the p0133 for the p0138.

Using the O2 sensor wrench, pretty easy. You can buy one or rent one. There are different designs. I'd go with the one that's completely open ended, vs the one with a cutout for the wiring. Better design.

you should be able to rent one out from a auto store... Getting the old ones out could be a pain in the butt if you live where there is winter (you might need a torch)
If your exhaust needs work, maybe time for y-pipe + headers

Probably for newbies it's bet to make the mechanic do it.

Do I have to use auto siege or whatever that protective grease is to put around the sensors and do I have to wait for the engine to cool completely before starting? I'm reading its best to wait 24 hours due to the heat and not wanting to warp the socket.

You don't have to wait a day before installing the sensor. When you can touch the exhaust pipe without burning yourself, the time is right.

You should use an anti-seize compound on the threads of the new O2 sensor when you install it. If you don't, you may never get it out a year later.
