P0171 - 02 Sensor - Intake Leak ?

Hey orgers, I am currently stumped as to what is causing my 0171 code recently. The Symptoms are

Lumpy Idle while in gear when car is hot
Half burned gas smell while idling (cold or hot)
Car lightly bucks while creeping forward at lights (when hot)
Noticeable power decrease most of the time when down shifting
Gas mileage is down

Car NEVER comes close to stalling or dying and MAF has been replaced with the OEM 22680-2Y001 with no change at all.

I am leaning towards 02 sensors as they have 160,000 miles on them.
But any suggestions are more then welcome !

Could it also be an intake manifold gasket leak ? Are these known to fail at all ?
Please let me know what you have done to fix this issue !

Did you go to the dealer for the ECU update when you bought the new MAF?

I just started having the same problems last night with my 2002. It's like it is choking when I hit the accelerator. I also had a trans line soak my Cold air intake so I just cleaned it up and it seems a little better. As far as the intake manifold leak, I was going to take my Kinetix SSV off and put the stock manifold back on so might as well do it now to see if its a leak. I'll post again with my outcome.

Nope. These issues were prevalent both before and after the MAF replacement.

Snap, crackle and pop. I sealed it all up with red RTV Silicone. I limped it around for thirty minutes and now I get a P0171 and P0174. My engine bay is smells like it did when I blew the radiator but my temp gauge is normal and no smoke anywhere. I think I'll try cleaning the throttle body tomorrow. Any other ideas?

I used CRC on the throttle body again and then cleaned the MAF. Put Lucas injector cleaner in the gas tank. I was told that 9 out of 10 times that the P0171 code is for a fouled #1 spark plug. I checked and It was black and brown while the rest of my plugs were still good.
I started the car and it died right away. I finally got it started and made it halfway around the block when it sputtered out and wouldn't restart for 20 minutes. I had to creep it home without touching the accelerator or it would die. It won't even make it into my driveway now.
Still throwing codes P0171 and 0174.

question for sequence and torque

I'm replacing the intake gasket. Does anyone know the sequence and torque specs for this plenum cover? I am WAY below average weekend mechanic so very plain and simple words are much appreciated.

This is out of a repair manual. Hope it's not too late and can help someone

Upper Intake Manifold = 13-16 Ft-lbs
Start with the bolt farthest to the left, tighten each bolt moving to the right, then the tighten the nut on the far right. Last, tighten the nut on the far left side of the manifold.

Lower Intake Manifold = First Step 44-86 Ft-lbs
Second Step 20-23 Ft-lbs
**repeat second step several times to tighten bolts and nuts evenly
Use a pattern similar to tightening lugs on a wheel. 1.Start on the bottom in the middle, 2. is up slightly to the right, 3. Is straight to the left, 4. is diagonally down to the righted #1. 5. Is the top left corner. 6. Is the bottom right to the right corner. 7. is the top right corner. 8. Is the bottom left corner.
