P2123 Problem? HELP!!!

P2123 Throttle Pos. Sensor/ Switch 'D' Circuit high Imput
is the code thats coming up, at idle the car runs and when you drive it, it accelerates as long as you dont floor it, if you floor it, it accelerates for 1FULL RPM and then cuts out and i loose control of the gas pedal....?
i replaced the throttle body thinking that may be the issue?
a buddy of mine said that i may need to re-tweek the tune that was made on the Greddy Emanage Blue by: Knight_xyz, my buddy was saying i need to readjust the voltage parameters for the TPS.
Does anyone know anything about this code? I read up that its the gas pedal sensor, so i disconnected the sensor from the pedal, cleaned it with compressed air, and plugged it back in,the wire and everything looked to be okay..?
still have the same issue...i reallllly need help, im considering putting my stock harness back on to see if that fixes the issue, im running out of ideas....plz HELP!!!!

I don't know if the Greddy Emanage can do that but maybe you can check out the APP sensor (Accelerator Pedal Position) see if the sensor is the problem.

See page 649 of section EC in the FSM.

Bumping this old thread. Ran into P2123 the other day while I was out bedding in the new brakes on my 02’. I was pretty much done and was just driving around giving it the beans when suddenly I lost all power and throttle response. Just about had a heart attack because I thought the motor blew but it turned out that it was just the sensor on the gas pedal messing up, which restricts the throttle body to ~10% opening and makes accelerating very, very slow. Limped home and reset the code and its back to working as normal but supposedly the putting the pedal to the floor is was can trigger this if something is faulty.

Anyways - it looks like I have to get the whole assembly since the sensor isnt sold separately. Does anyone have experience with aftermarket brands? Alternatively, does anyone know what causes these to fail? I may just buy a used OEM unit but I wouldnt want to run into the same issue again. Thanks yall.

I'm at 358,XXX miles and the only issue I've ever had with pedal response was the rubber stopper at the top of the pedal ( same as brake switch stopper but green), rubber stoppers for the 2 brake switches, and 75mm throttle body adapter harness. other than those things it's been a pretty reliable system. and when the alternator goes out the first thing that happens is the throttle body stops responding.

I remember having that happen with my brake pedal, easy fix with some glue and a penny. Ill have to crawl in there and see whats going on with the gas pedal. Do you recall if that stopper is for stopping it at WOT, or is it there to stop it at the top for closed throttle? Would make perfect sense if its the first one, and the ECU freaks out when it sees the throttle going past 100%

i believe its to stop at WOT to prevent damage to the sensor.

the one I'm talking about is for when you're not pressing the gas pedal. here's a picture I have from years back when I put a new stopper on it. the original stopper was a clear see through green that you can't buy at Nissan. Nissan was trying to sell me a whole new pedal assembly but I decided to try the regular black brake stopper and it worked.

when you turn the key to on to start the car it's as if the ECU wants the pedal at a real specific spot and if not the throttlebody isn't working once the engine starts running. it will idle great but no pedal response.
