2008 gives me trouble when its raining outside.

I own a 2008 max, the car goes into some sort of "limp mode" and will not accelerate even if I floor the gas pedal. The TCS OFF and SLIP lights come on together with the SES light. I have noticed that this happens when its raining outside. Anyone had this problem before?

I used my code reader and codes "P0643" "P2138" "P0451" came up.

I appreciate any help, really want to fix this!

Same exact issue. I'm assuming you resolved your problem by now.

What did you figure out?

P2138 is the throttle pedal position sensor. If your engine only idles and does not rev up when you hit the gas pedal, that is more likely than not a bad joint in the TPPS sensor. I had this issue in the Quest and solved by opening up the sensor and re-soldering all 7 or 8 joints between the white PCB and connector pins. You can also get a reman sensor from Rock Auto, but I was in a pinch and had to solve this quickly so chose DIY.
