MAF headache. Dealer can't help.

Hey guys. (I have a 2000 3.0L)
I went to the dealer thinking FINALLY I'll just get my bad maf fixed.

Wrong. They only have the 5pin. My car doesn't even run on a 5pin, it uses a 4.
I told them that I read something about needing a reflash to use the newer
5pin but they had no idea about that.

No help what so ever. All part stores only have the 5pin.
I have no idea what to do next. There doesn't seem to be a fix.

Has anyone come across this problem?
There are replacments on ebay, BUT my maf housing doesn't even have a part number on it.

I can take pictures of the sensor for you guys if that helps.
Any opinions or advice is appreciated.

The new MAF with the green dot and 5 pins will work. The 2000 connector has 5 slots, but 4 wires, the new MAF has 5 pins, but only 4 are needed. I installed one myself, and seems to be working just fine
