When you say "below invoice", is your invoice price includes the dealer handling fee($300ish) and advertising fee($500ish).

If you get $170 below the Edmunds' invoice price without the above two fees, you got a nice deal, congratulations!

On the invoice there was a $200 MA: charge. I asked the dealer about it and he told me the MA is a Marketing Analysis charge that Nissan imposes for every Maxima. He also said that these vary per region where rural areas the fee might not be as high. There was no Handling fee on the invoice.

If you play the game with the saleman anyone should be able to get this price. I almost walked out 3 times, each time forcing them to come back with a better deal. All in all not a bad deal considering I only offered them $26,500 in the beginning.
