p0141

I got a p0141 after I broke my o2 sensor while working under the car. I changed it using the cheapest one on rockauto. The connector did not click in so he swapped the wires over by releasing the pins from the connector and plugging them into my old connector. The code went away for about a month but now it came back and if I turn it off it comes back after a little driving. Do you think it died after such a short time.

It sure sound like the sensor has reached the end of it's short life.

what brand of O2 sensor was it from rockauto? I never go for the knockoff, I only trust, Bosch, NGK or Denso, but anything else, they would probably cheap metal and rusting issues.

It was apwi. I got denso for upstream but I figured for downstream apwi should be fine. I looked into them somewhat and they seemed to have decent manufacturing processes.

OEM Rear Sensor

I got the P0141 code as well on my Nissan Maxima 2000 (Federal emission).

Anyone know the Nissan OEM part# for the O2 sensor? Is there also an alternative brand that someone can recommend that I can get from advance auto parts?

Thank you very much!

The original part number was 226A0-2Y901 but has been replaced by 226A0-2Y904. MSRP is $207.43 but you can find it discounted to around $60.

If you go the rockauto.com, you can get one for $59.
