03 VIAS issues

I purchased a used vias online and took it to my local national auto parts store to buy some vacuum hose. The employee took my vias in the back to match up the vacuum hose and came back to me with a broken vias nipple. Evidently, it broke when the employee pulled the vacuum hose off one of the two nipples. They've been trying for two weeks now to find me a replacement vias and no such luck.

The nipples are too big and the solenoid electrical connector isn't the same on all of the three I've seen.

Thoughts?

I like that! Just not sure exactly how to delete... I've read some posts but still a little uncertain on how to do it.

You can buy the block plate from NWP and then install it... It removes the vacuum hose going from the VIAS to that thing you pointed at but the hose going from that thing to the black canister has to be there?? (or it throws a code I think)

Also did you check www.car-parts.com?

Here. Pictures are easier than words. Car is smoother without the VIAS. You loose some low-end torque, but it ramps up more pleasantly with a little added high-end HP. Works better if you're modified a little... spacers, exhaust, intake.

Coincidentally, I found my old VIAS, lines and vacuum tank in the attic last month. Threw it in the trash. (Oops ) Never occurred to me to try and sell it here.
