abs light spliced wire
abs light spliced wire
Would a splice in the abs wire cause the light to go on?
I replaced my steering knuckle with one from the junkyard. The abs harness where it plugs in on top in the engine bay was different and my old abs plug was broken at the knuckle. I spliced the original harness to the one on the knuckle. Its only 2 wires white and peach. I think the knuckle I got was a gle and my car is a se.

Most definitely. Just because it's spliced back and taped up doesn't mean it works well. My FR ABS sensor was cut accidentally when my coilovers were installed. I spliced the wires, taped it with electrical tape and was on my way. Didn't throw an ABS light. I scanned it and long behold, C1107 code. Replaced it with new sensor and everything is all good.
