2001 Fog Lights Yellow bulbs

I don't feel like installing HID fog lights I'm happy with my HID for headlights yes.

But for Fog Lights which yellow bulbs would be good? I was thinking something like this http://www.ebay.com/itm/H3-55W-GOLDE...60e3da&vxp=mtr

Or http://www.ebay.com/itm/90-91-92-93-...0572d7&vxp=mtr

Those 2 have 55W bulbs which it won't belt the housing.

Fog light HID =

It's much the same as wearing sunglasses at night, but I digress.

more light maybe but if an HID bulb gets thrown in there (with one of those kits) then the amount of USABLE light is actually less...while the amount of glare is a LOT MORE.

Believe me I've seen/rode my friend's car with HID fog lights bright yellow as hell and the visual is incredible amazing, I love how it looks mix with blue and yellowish around it.

THIS ^^^

You also need a properly done relay harness to get the correct voltage to the fogs all the time. Also those 3000k HID's in fogs look almost green and all that is just epic FAIL

Doing this gives you a ton of glare in actual fog/bad weather and you can't see ****.

If you've ever used HID fogs in actual fog and thought that visibility was good, I'd venture to say you're likely a common fool. But I digress

Believe me, your friend's setup is a steamy pile. Not to diss your friend or anything, I'm sure he means well, but he's not getting the benefits of HID output.

you show me a HID kit installed in regular foglights and I'll show you a ghetto shiity setup full of glare and horrible output...guaranteed.

The only proper way to put HIDs into a foglight is the same as a headlight - WITH A PROJECTOR.

Maybe you've never experienced having HID fog lights because first of all I do not need a relay harness, because I already have one for my headlights because I have a bi-xenon HID's which does provide more power. But for fog lights I don't need it. 3000k HID are not green it yellow but yes at the warm up sequence it will be green at the beginning and after it will turn bright yellow.

This is the part where you're deeply wrong my friend. HID fog lights does not actually gives out much more glare compare where headlights does without projectors. The visual with yellow fog lights your eye reacts better to the contrasts yellow lights produce therefore "better lumination"

It mine car I can do whatever I feel comfortable with it, I'm not asking for your opinion if you're complaining about **** HID in fog housing, well too bad. I did thought about getting "HID-alike" bulb but I realize they don't give out better output and still would look halogen not bright yellow where I want it.

I commute every almost 40-50 miles a day at night during the summer.

So yes I've decided to move on with HID for fog-lights I've never ask for your opinion, I only asked about the HID alike bulbs.
