clock, security light, and trip odometer resetting

I noticed my clock never turns on, security light doesn't blink, and trip odometer resets everytime i restart the car after I removed hvac unit. I was told too check electrical part fuse under steering column and it was good. Any other suggestions?

Did you recently disconnect the battery terminals? Does your radio settings also reset when you turn off the car?

Ok. I agree with the other guys check the fuses inside under your dash, could be a connection behind where the fuse pushes in. I think on my 2000 its fuse # 12 that's for my clock, security light

I believe the OP discovered that the heated seat fuse was the culprit.
