Few problems with m 2002 Maxima SE

Ive been having some issues with my 2002 Maxima SE. Every once in a while (not always) i will turn the key to start the car and it will click and the dash lights come on along with the radio but the car doesnt start. It will take anywhere from 2-50 tries until i can actually get it started. Around the same time this started happening, half the dash lights went out along with the small temperature control screen. The Heat and A/C Still work just the display screen does not come on. Now the entire dash is out and the Engine maintanence light came on. Just recently the radio has been shutting off (only when i come to a complete stop) and the car feels like it is about idle off and sometimes it does. I checked he alternator and battery they both were fine. Can any one give any information on what it could be before i pull the dash out. Also does anyone know where i can find ignition wiring schematics and ground wire schematics etc... Thank You!

This sounds a LOT like a grounding issue. I would inspect the battery ground and make sure that it's in good order and then go through all other grounds to verify that all others are good as well. I would even go as far as to suggest going ahead and replacing all the grounds.

There's a user here (~shinjido?) that sells a really nice grounding kit that is specifically designed for our cars. His prices are reasonable too. He posts in the 5th Gen classifieds under parts for sale. Might be a good way to go in my opinion.
