Need help deciding
Hello, I would like your personal opinion on this.
I have all my materials to start my first Quad Projector Retrofit on my 2002 Nissan Maxima, but now that I'm about to start, I took a good look at my OEM headlamps and I noticed that the right side has various cracks/lines on the inside part. I've tried searching for this headlamp to replace it, but it's too expensive or I can't find it...
Should I:
1- Go ahead and ignore those cracks and do the retrofit on my OEM headlamps? Why?
2- Or Should I buy these aftermarket headlamps ( http://m.ebay.com/itm/400726197452?nav=SEARCH ) and do the retrofit on these ? Why?
Thank you.

^^ Those aftermarket units have bad light output, projectors are no good. You want to keep the OEM internals but everyhing else in the lights you can swap out.
What many end up doing is taking the new plastic lenses from the aftermarket lights and putting together with 5.5 housing or you can even use the housing and just retro the projectors over.
This has been useful for those that want to do black housing with their retro, getting the black aftermarkets is useful that way you dont have to mess with blacking out the OEM housing. Its not cheap of course, having to buy another set of lights just to mess with em and take a few things.
