ECU Chip question sta509a

OK so my ecu is damaged from sta509a chip and traces are burned beyond repair

my maxima is a 01 at with out traction control i was wondering if i can use any 01 maxima ecm as long as it doesnt have traction control and is for a auto trans?

i couldent find this answer anywhere i found a cheap ecm near me before i go i wanted this answered if some one please could thank you!

as long as is the same year and same ecu you wont have any problems

Well, I just checked the Rock Auto website. They only list 2 ECM's for the '01 Maxima, both for standard transmission. One replaces the OE with the number ending in -4Y900 and the other replaces -4Y910. This tells me there may be a mid-year split or a California specific ECM. Call your dealer and see what they say.

Im guessing those 2 numbers are divided by travtion contol n no traction thanks for the reply guys im just gwr a non trac control ecm
