Trembling car

So today I turned on my car and as I drove for about 5 mins, it began to shake/ trembled and the CEL light began to blink for like 10 secs. Anyone know what's going on?

I think a blinking CEL means a cylinder is misfiring.

I'd be sure to check your CEL codes and go from there.
Do any work to your car recently?

More than likely a bad coil causing the misfire.

snowed in

i was just about to make the same post haha. my Nissan has been doing the same thing. The first time i got the code i was told it was cylinder 6 that was misfiring but they told me it didn't say if it was the ignition coil or the spark plug so he told me switch the coils and check the codes again. i did but then it was cylinder 2 but i never touched cylinder 2 just 6 and 4 if im correct. i got the codes again and it said cylinder misfire again but it didnt give me a number (and this was the 3rd time i check the codes). i dont know what to do now.

Edit: mine only trembles when i slowly step off the brake, as if i was at a red light and getting rdy for it to change. On the freeway it drives smooth and the check engine light starts flashing around 50+ mph

If your car has around 100k miles and you never changed the plugs yet, I would do them first for 6 plugs cost less than one coil.

Just seen spark plugs are covered with oil. Not sure if oil affects coils. Problem detected

Fix up the valve covers using the GENERATION 6 NISSAN MAXIMA (2004+) with gaskets.. You could technically leave the front alone but up to you. Rear for sure replace though

While you are back there change up the ignition coils to new HITACHI or new OEM. Don't use other brands.

Did you fry your engine?

you can swap them around with a different coils to see if your misfire moves.

I had a misfire on the 5th cylinder but had to do spark plugs soon anyways so I replaced all 3 rear coils as well as a valve cover.
my 5th cylinder spark plug was covered in oil, as well as the coil boot
