If you have to ask THAT, I suggest staying far away from the vehicle and not touching it with your hands.

HID in non HID headlights are useless because the reflector is not made to reflect the light properly they are designed for halogen bulbs.trust me there is a difference it will also cut your throw distance 70%.

Just pointing out that if you have to ask those kind of questions.....you should be doing lots more research before touching anything on the car

'02-'03 OEM HID headlights don't perform all that well..

I'd rather do a projector retrofit.

Depends entirely on the set up.

Well worth it regardless.

Maybe the OP was talking aftermarket HIDs, but looks like they got ran away from their own post. You guys can be brutal on here sometimes Personally, I wish my HIDs weren't so bright...I pretty much light up the whole neighborhood at night. I can never run fog lights at the same time as headlights without turning oncoming traffic into Stevie Wonder(not cool)

I plan to return to stock once I muster up time to search a junkyard for a decent refurbishable pair, and they don't come cheap I already know!

By the looks of it, it's not just your headlights it's the HID fogs causing your issues. Every time I see a car with HID fog lights, makes me want to get out and slap the dude in the face.

But your other problem is the housings, that kind of aftermarket housing doesn't work well for HID's and those lights have horrible output blinding everyone and causing tons of glare.

No you did, and I'm not trying to hate on you bro...we all made some questionable mod decisions at one point or another.

Good thing you're changing them, HID fogs really make lots of people's **** boil lol haha
