Here's a thread on WS y-pipe installation for a 4th gen. I coated the pipe with VHT ceramic header paint primer and paint and let it cure before installation. So far so good. DFW TX area and Central AR are similar climates. I don't expect to have any problems.

installed today pain in the a** all my bolts rusted had to use new ones the pipe has a big fitment issue. the flange for the rear manifold wasn't lining up , the pipe brought the cat down and makes it rub against the frame, so when u drive I get some annoying grinding noise. hated it but , this is my first car and my first exhaust performance part and I did expect to that it wasn't going to be easy but the car performs great I love the power

I don't mean to insult the company but maybe I just got a messed up one but damn I went thru some s**t

honestly I would say I did . from stock exhaust to just gutting precat and installing y pipe I love it from 3rd gear doing 3k-4k rpm letting it gear down by it self I hear my stock muffler purr .

from earlier in the post as Im guessing from what a member said that ur federal you'll just have a bigger pipe and I think that you shouldn't have any fitment issues and you should go aged and do it

I like the throaty sound from my stock muffler thinking what to do next . gutted cats>ypipe>stock cat>resonator delete>stock muffler ? what you think bro

Not to thread jack but I get the impression from the guy at warpspeed that he's starting to not give a f**K about his customer service anymore. Before I bought the thing he was right on the ball with responding to email questions about the pipe. Once I purchased it I only got a paypal confirmation and nothing else. Then I inquired 7 days later about the pipes current location. Had to email 2-3 times to get a response...then he said it would ship out that day or Friday. This was the 28th or so a week after payment.

As of now I have no Y Pipe and no response to three emails about getting a shipping/tracking number so i can watch it. At this point if I call its going to be a giant elephant in the room like "why are you ignoring me?", so Im trying to avoid it. Not impressed with this customer service. May have been just fine when he was the only one out there...but now theres Cattman with top shelf stuff and even ebay y pipes if i understand correctly.

Sorry......back to topic

I had both WarpSpeed and Cattman Y-pipe. I got rid of the WarpSpeed when the flex fell apart. The Cattman is much better quality and fit perfect. I have the Cattman y-pipe, hi-flow cat, and Cattman cat-back. I don't there is a 15-20 hp gain, but it sure sounds better.

Nah....I'm gonna just do the y for now. I don't feel like messing with non foulers etc right now. Plus I spent $150 on a new front precat a couple years ago....it's probably still pretty clean.
