Can someone help with a defrost option

There is lots of info regarding how to trigger
The rear defrost but I have my unit installed and
Working. But when I'm in the vehicle under a remote start
I push the defroster and the unit Kicks out.

I do have both accessory wires hooked up.


Is there too much current being drawn?
Will I need to supply a 12v high current
Wire and install a relay?

 

You need a relay on the defroster circuit it is a high current draw
