Light issues
I have about 166k miles on my car. I was driving last night and my high beams flickered and died at the exact same time. I checked and I thought it was the battery connection and I tightened and still no high beams. Later my low beams died in the same manner. I drove home for a good 15 miles on just fog lights. I was trying to solve the problem today when my fog lights died suddenly. I have no idea what it could be, it's not the alternator because my battery would've died. Anybody out there had this problem?

Canadian Maxima: DRL module
United States Maxima:
The same fuse powers the high beams and the low beams, so since the high beams failed and the low beams worked, it's not a fuse.
My first guess would be the headlight switch.
Do you have a voltmeter to check voltages?

Could it possibly be my ground, my fog lights started working normally again?

Anything is possible. The way the lights work is that 12 volts is at the light all the time and the light switch in the steering column connects the light to ground.
So the grounds for all the lights, headlights, parking lights, fog lights, all go through the headlight switch. So if there is a bad ground, it is in the steering column or under the dash. Without looking it up, I don't know exactly where the ground point is.
I'm still betting on the headlight switch.
