Name This Hose (Pretty Please!!)

As I continue to bring this 2000 Maxima (200K miles) back to life and sort out a severe lack of acceleration, I've discovered a hose that doesn't connect to anything. It appears to be a vacuum hose, but I don't know where it goes. It snakes down the side of the air cleaner, and the end is on top of the engine toward the air scoop.

Also, the second picture shows some kind a black box with a hose that is plugged. Any idea if that is correct??

I really appreciate the help.

that's your transmission breather hose. It's supposed to be like that and vent to atmosphere

Second pic, I'm not sure. My guess is that's normal too, but I'll let others chime in.

The second pic is blurry on my phone but if that's a white cap i see on the right than just split the left hose with a (t) fitting connect both... The one on the very far right concerns me... Look at my pic i have a red hose yours appears to be missing or it's just too blurry...

Cali spec has three hoses/while fed spec has only two.

Mine is a fed spec...look
