Seat issue
#2
The motor for the seat maybe bad. Look at the bottom on the front side of the seat, you should see a motor. Try moving the seat as you tap it. If it doesn't work, could be a bad connection, bad motor or a switch. But I've seen quiet a few with this issue and it was the motor every time. may be easier to just change the seat out, which is what i ended up doing. Good luck!

Mine did this, and still does from time to time. Smash the front motor with something hammerlike and see if it does anything
I used the back of a screwdriver to agressively tap it and then it started working again. Now when it stops working, i simply sit in the seat, apply upward pressure on the motor with my hand and im set

In my 03 GLE the seat inclines and declines and the back part moves back and forth but the bottom wont move, the left side is seized but the right moves so it swiveles an inch or so before getting stuck, i just leave it straight tho to avoid damage. Luckily stuck in driving position and been procratinating taking the seat off and fixing the shaft which is probably bent. Ugh.

Shaft is not bent, right screw shaft missing two stops the other one has so only the left moves, how did that happen? Seat used to work fine, made sure both contacts were fine in seat motor and works fine when off seat rails. Re- aligned screws perfectly so each one was bolted to the seat rail evenly but without the stops on the screw only the left side moves for some reason. Ive given up, left the bolts out from the screw shafts and now the fore aft part of the seat moves freely and manually while the other functions work. Slides automatically to back which is driving position anyway, at least its not crooked like when attached to motor.
