I went to a dyno day today......got three runs in. I was hoping for 190hp/200trq and in true dyno fashion I got robbed a couple shy off my goal...lol. But from what I've read here I got respectable numbers. Y pipe gained me a nice 10hp and 2-3ft lbs at the wheels.

186hp....197trq 3.0 de-K 4AT

Looks pretty decent for auto and no real power adders except Y pipe. 3.0 sure has that super smooth curve.

Yeah I've got a few breather mods but nothing insane. I considered those intake plenums but they are just too damn expensive...not to mention anything involved with the manifold is a pain in the a**.

Don't stock 5 speeds get 180-185 hp/trq?. In that case my hp is doing pretty good and my trq is DAMN good..lol

Yeah super smooth, and obviously super consistent. The dyno numbers went down 1hp at a time because of the engine heating up just sitting on the dyno....if it was on the road it would just consistantly pull those same numbers over and over...I like that. In reality we all rave about hp numbers on forums but on the street unless you do a lot of drag racing if you are around 200whp or torque you can pretty much pass anyone you want to and merge onto highways at very fast speeds..lol. Racing is where you need more ponies to be at the top.

VQ35 has a staggered HP curve. Strange but heard it has to due with the engine computer or something. Also has a ton of torque steer, took it on the interstate today and floored it and had to grip the wheel hard.

That's FWD for you. Even with Lsd I think anything more than 250whp wouldn't be really usable.

Absolutely lol. My cars alignment is off a bit but it's hardly noticeable just driving around town and there's no shaking on the highway from it. But man I can feel it make the torque steer even worse..there's been a couple times where I've taken off and almost had the wheel get ripped out of my hands lol, gotta be prepared for it on take off.

Yea, mine tends to pull right, all tires equal pressure and had a recent alignment.

Auto tranny smooths out the torque steer a bit...one of its benefits

I've got my eye on a big 22 by 3.5 inch magnaflow resonator/muffler on eBay. Should tie it all up nicely. Ditch the rasp.

22" x 4" round p/n 10436 there is no 3.5" universal round muffler. There's a 3.5" glasspack muffler p/n 18134 & 18135 (2"/2.25")....Not really sure what size tubing you have but I thought you were running 2.5"...

It's the glasspack one. 18125 is the longer one. There's also an 18 inch one...but I figure why not go bigger. I thought I was running 2.5 too....the test pipe and y pipe are supposedly 2.5 but they measure a bit smaller. My b pipe measures 2.25...*shrug*
