Throttle body screwed?

Cleaned Throttle body today. I stupidly moved the throttle plate by hand and now I have a high idle and timing is down to 8 instead of 15 degrees at idle. I've tried all the relearns with gas pedal. idle goes down after relearn but timing is off. after i restart car the idle goes back up. Is my throttle body likely screwed up or can dealer reset it? I've read post saying both..Not sure where to go from here.

Dealer can reset it for $105 lol

I screwed up mine & had to get it reset

Would've been cheaper for me to let the dealer clean it...

Damn...well better than buying new throttle body. Still, such a pain of a situation from just cleaning throttle body. Live and learn I guess.:-(

Will the version of Nissan data scan for android work with Bluetooth adapter? I've already tried car gauge pro and it didn't work.

tried nissan data scan on android..couldn't get it to connect to blue tooth adapter. If Nisan can reset it for around $100, guess ill do that. most convenient thing if not the cheapest. Been wanting the nwp throttle kit for a while but not the best time to spend the $$ on it. especially if my stock one can be reset by Nissan for now. will never put my hands on it again after this.lol

I had that problem when I cleaned mine because my car was stalling at warm start ups. I read up before hand and took all the precautions. I ran power to it. I put it in gear. I even had someone in the car pressing the gas to move the butterfly (all potentially dangerous in combination if car starts i know). I was as gentle as possible with a toothbrush and all the patience in the world. That drive by wire PITA still gave me a high idle. After doing the relearn procedure a bunch of times along with the rest of them I finally got it to stick and quit stalling. I think I got it to around 700 then drove it around until it relearned itself and the idle worked it's way down to 650/625. Just keep trying! Make sure it's done properly. Don't listen to the beeps from your instrument panel they'll only throw you off. Count 1 one thousand 2 one thousand. If you get it to idle down try driving it before turning it off, or turn it off and disconnecting the negative battery terminal, draining the lights, and leaving it disconnected for 10 to 15 minutes. It may stick then. If nothing works just drive it. It will relearn itself. You'd have to drive it to the dealership anyway, No? If you're not beating on it and you don't have a flashing SES I don't believe you'll have any problems.

Edit. Nevermind I missed your last post.

Thanks for advice but yeah, already spent the cash. Car still acts a little funny. Like when i first come to a stop its at 1000rpm then falls on down to 650 or so. Maybe i need to drive more but haven't had time this evening. I'll keep driving and see if it goes completely back to normal.

I have the diagnostic port blue tooth adapter and app for my phone. Thats how i knew my timing was retarded. The app would not do the idle relearn though when i tried it. timing now isn't stable , bouncing around from 13 to 16.

Well after doing ecu reset, throttle position calibrations and idle air volume calibration all back to back.. The car idles as it should and everything seems back to normal.
