2002 Occasionally wont turn over

A couple of weeks ago I used my 02 maxima to jump another car, immediately after that the maxima wouldn't turn over. All of the lights and radio come on, the battery seems to have plenty of juice. I hear the fuel pump kick on as well, and then I might hear a click from the engine compartment if I hold the key in the start position.

Weirdest part is the next day the car fired right up, the radio acted as if the battery had been dead but I did nothing to charge or jump it.

Went another couple weeks with no issues and the same thing just happened again. Ideas?

Your starter, and the solenoid in particular, is on its way out. One day, it will fail hard and you'll need a tow. And Foodmanry is right; there is plenty of info on the subject.
