if u look at the stock air box of a 4th gen and that of a 5th gen, they're very different.

Yes it will fit guranteed. Same size filter fits 3rd gen 4th and 5th, and it even fit my Sentra 91 SE-R and 2k Sentra.

Okay, sorry but you need to use your head for a minute and think about this. The filter is square. The box is now up on its side. The filter just slides into the box instead of the box closing down on top of the filter. It is the same size filter.

Looks does not make it any different.
