Harlan Shift Light

Alright, finally installed this week and boy am I happy. It was more mind numbing labor than anything else (removing dash to get at wires). The light itself is cake to program. If you can push button and read a spreadsheet, than you can do it.

I put it above my mirror so it can't been seen from the outside. In fact, I was able to thread the wire throught the mirror wire cover that goes against the windshield so you can see any wires! I used a Radio Shack radar detector and wrapped the velcro around the light and put it on the mount. Once I am for sure I like it here, I will cut down the RD mount so its even less noticable.

I got the red one and its BRIGHT. Even during the daytime, you miss it...you are probably clinically dead. I tested at 2K, 3K, and finally set it at my 6400K. Its amazing how off the tach sweep is.

I highly recommend getting this if you blip the rev lim a bunch or want a visual reminder. Great quality, even better instructions and ease of install. The only tough thing was disassembling everything to put in the visor line with hidden wires.

$55 with shipping

The install took me about 1.5 2 hours because I ran wire through the dash up the a-pillar, across the visor line, down the mirror "wire-hide" and then out above my mirror. I am **** about my car so I took a lot of stuff out so I could run the wires "just right".

Trust me its easy. I used the install instructions in the 5thgen FAQ (page 4 I think). Just take your time.... Plus its fully dynamic. I was changing the RPM set point within seconds...no joke.
