Alarm/Remote Start Questions for 2003 Maxima

I have an 03 that came with a viper car alarm installed (no remote start). Does that mean it would already have to have the bypass/immobilizer module also installed - or would the 03 not require that with an aftermarket alarm such as the viper?

I want to get a remote start and wondering if I would need to purchase the bypass/immobilizer or if there might be one already installed. Wanted to ask first because I wont get a day until a few weeks out to get to tear everything apart (only vehicle).

Has anyone installed either, looking for remote starter suggestions as well as the bypass/immobolizer if needed. Thanks!

I'm not 100% sure, but I think the alarm won't need a bypass. The remote start will of course. If you do it, brownie points for taking a ton of pics and posting a how-to
