2003 M/T hesitation TSB...anyone else??

I'm sorting through my cars' issues and stumbled onto this TSB NTB03-022 which is the m/T hesitation. my car is experiencing a hard acceleration hesitation where it just "thinks" then takes off. 6th gear acceleration is nonexistant as well!! It's VERY ANNOYING!! but i need to know if its this or something else causing this. my scan tool does not have consult 2 so I cannot get the ecm part number to see if mine is part of this TSB. Any thoughts as to what I can do BESIDES take it to my dealer to have them run it? Also, if anyone here can give some input on this issue from personal experience or friends experience with this I would love to hear and would appreciate it.
My car for sure will need pre cats gutted as I have the off throttle rattle. Spitting p0430 intermittently still after o2 sensor changed. Coils and vaccum leaks are good and nonexistent.
I have a rust free still smells new example, however I'm dissatisfied with my performance. I've always wanted a rust free 5.5 gen and got one with a 6 speed. Now the car is driving me bonkers! I know I have some issues, but this forum has some very expert and experienced owners from what I've viewed. Thanks guys.
Owner of a near cosmetically flawless 2003 se 6 SPD with no *****.......

Sounds like MAF

Steal some from the junkyard or swap with someone you know (00-01 work too).

Will an MAF from the 3.0s actually work? They're way cheaper. I've got the same problem, just didn't want to spend any money on it.
