Got a 2000 max gle 184k, was wondering what you guys thing I can get for it. The tranny is gone I think, makes a grinding noise when I shift it into park.
Car has normal wear and tear, paint is faded around the car but everything works fine.

 

500-1000 with a blown tranny is my guess

 

Kelley Blue Book value of a 2K GLE Maxima, in "excellent" shape, with 180k miles is $2,155. Subtract the cost of replacing/fixing the transmission and you get the value of your car.

Might as well buy a low mileage tranny and swap it in (yourself) if the rest of the car is good.

 

Maxima (gen 5) are around ~$2000 here so you would likely make no money just free tow to scrap

 

You'll probably get $500-800 if you are lucky.

 

+1 on the getting a used tranny and refurb project. You won't get anything for it with a blown tranny and 180k on the clock...
