Gas Mileage Revisited

Gas Mileage Revisited
We talked about this a while ago, and although our cars are the same, most of us have different results. My car's 15" steel wheel setup is the lightest, w/5 spd tranny, and in combined cycle driving I get 350 mi before the light comes on.
One cause is variance in wheel sizes- 16's or 17's. Did anyone here switch from factory 16's to factory 17's and noticed any changes? I am afraid that going from 15's to "lightweight" alloy rims will cost me add'l 2-3 gallons per tank.

yeah.. that sounds right.. I have the 15 in steel setup right now and with 100 miles of highway and 250 local.. my light just came on yesterday... about 350 miles. and put about 15 gallon in it.. so that gives me about 23 miles per gallson.. pretty good with mostly local driving..

All stock but...
My car is all stock, but I have not had any problems. Even running it hard I am pulling out about 28-32 MPG. But hey, not given any complaints. Just happy about it. I run 91 and drive it at about 4500-5000 most of the time.
