Good for PR CAI???????

Outerwears Pre Filters
These increase the time between filter cleanings, These are water repellent so if you forget and get into high water you are less likely to suck in water. (These are water repellent, not water proof) These pre filters are Ideal for those that don't like cleaning there K&N's as you can go more time between cleanings. Shown in Red also available in Black, Blue, and Yellow.
$15.95 each

Check out http://howell.mountain.net/Neon/neonEngineAir.htm

Not a bad idea but not really necessary.

the point of getting a K&N filter is eliminated with this invention!
why would you want to add more restriction to your intake?

Well water repellent part is point less. In a real PRCAI, the filter is behind the fender and wheel well protector. Now pretty much impossible for water to get back there.

And dust and want not also is very low in that area, so cleaning it as often is not that bad. That is why I said sort of pointless. If anything it can be a air reducer. Because it is also acting like another filter is sort of slows down the airflow. With a K&N, you are getting maximum air flow with the best protection against dust. No need to lower that back down to stock with this cover.

If you really want a prefilter, go buy a real K&N prefilter. According to K&N, they only restrict the filter by 5% but filter like 90% of the air. Check the website.

I am from DC. And I have seen tests done showing how they put the CAI near water and it still never got close enough. But an AEM bypass can be installed on the inside of the hood. All you have to do is cut the bent pipe of the PRCAI in half.

Hey Big Dog,

Is that your car? I like that blue. What color is it because I want to get my CAI from place racing cause for $25 more I can get a custom color. If you don't mind since people want to be original. Also did you have everything painted inside and out.

LOL, it seems that you like the blue better than the yellow. I think that you did a better "Paint Job" with the blue.

Well it is very hard to change a Black color to a Yellow color with any program. I did the best I could except it made it "glow" which is why most people did not like it.

Yeah, that's true, but I liked the two "Sparkles" on the yellow. You only have one on the blue. I'm thinking that you must be biased towards the yellow.

I have pics of my White Max. You could probably photoshop your wheels on it, and make it yellow if you wanted, but then it wouldn't be your car in your sig........
