Help with battery connections 2003 se

so I just bought a 03 SE for a great price. After 2 days of no issues, today the car wouldn’t start cause of dead battery. I boost it and it starts right up. After being parked for an hour, I go to start it up again and it’s dead. I’m thinking it has something to do with all these connections hooked to the battery but no idea what any of these are. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

That 'disc' on the battery is for ground connections. Looks like the prev owner had issues with ground connections so they installed that thing to ensure it had good grounds. That wouldn't cause battery drain.

1. When you boost it did you drive the car for at least 20 minutes afterwards? (necessary to get the battery charged)

2. The battery may just be dead / not holding a proper charge anymore. I think most parts stores will do a free battery test for you if you bring it in.
