Stalling / Stumbling at the Gas Pump after Refueling
Stalling / Stumbling at the Gas Pump after Refueling
If i let the gas get extra low or lets say 20 miles after the low fuel light is turned on, many times after filling back up at the gas station, the car stalls and stumbles with the new full tank.
Any thoughts? no stalling, or stumbling problems otherwise
Yesterday I had to crank it for 10-15 secs and apply a light to medium constant throttle to keep it running, and sometimes it still stalls while I am putting it in drive and have to pause the throttle to not neutral bomb.
Only very recently in past year or so it has been doing this. Evap leak is some where (all sensors and canister relaced) but not sure if that is entirely related.
edit- the culprit is the PVCV sensor , do not use aftermarket, only OEM. stalling problems after refueling are gone. PVCV when its not working cuts off in and out fumes and cant release all the pressure once the tank is filled up w liquid fuel and it stalls even w a fuel tank of gas.
