If you have an o2 sensor after the cat, you will need to install an extender on that sensor to pull it slightly out of the stream so it reads less.

You can always get a bung (the threaded socket for the O2 sensor) welded onto the pipe. Just make sure you get it welded on do that theO2 sensor will point to the driver side of the car like it does now.

Get the pipe that comes with the bung. You want to be able to install an O2 sensor.

I don't know. someone else will have to answer that question.

I have my doubts. 1 - I think the stock pipe is 2.5". 2 - I think the catalytic converter is longer than 12 inches.

Can I ask the mileage on your ride? I'm at 115k and I'm gonna have to do something soon. Merging on the highway used to be a gas, now not so much.

Ok, your mileage is low. I've had the SES light and OBD codes for both banks for the last 2 years. Timing for the inspections have been good so far, next Feb will be a problem.
I thought 115k wasn't bad for the almost 19 years we've had the car, I was leaning towards the cats but maybe sensors?
